What Do You Think About The Rice Shortage Crisis???

Hi Guys! I just want to ask for your opinion of the rice shortage in the Philippines? Is it really true or is it only the plan of our president to divert us away from the ZTE-NBN issue? In my opition, Arroyo intended this to divert us away from the ZTE-NBN issue. I don't think that we are short in rice because I have heard in some people that we are not really out of rice. I also think that our government is only hiding it in some place.

It's a big issue that a government should resolve as soon as possible. Were in a middle class family but we are having hard time budgeting our food allowance everyday. And what happen with the lower class family who can't afford a kilo of rice.

It's funny but i never thought there would come such a day. Rice has always been the #1 food in the entire WORLD. Now one of the #1 productive countries is in crisis. This is a shock and very sad. I suppose with all the natural disasters that have been happening over there it was just a matter of time before something like this happened
