What is your favorite type of cat?

I'm thinking about buying one, I'm not sure which type though. I live in a condo so I'll have to give it walks in a while I guess since it can't leave on its own. Maybe just because I live in a condo it'll be worse for the cat since it won't have the freedom of going outside?

I agree. Don't buy a cat. Go to your local shelter or humane society and meet different cats. You can then pick out the one who is right for you. Your cat doesn't need to go outside. He will need a litter box, a scratching post and some toys. Feed him a good quality food and be sure to spay her or neuter him.
Check out some books about caring for cats in your local library to see what you're getting yourself in for. Cats are wonderful animals, but they are a life time commitment. A cat can live over 15 years with the proper care.
