How can I tell if my cat is pregnant?

Here's the deal....I have a cat that is a little over a year old. About a couple of months I had to go away for a few days and left plenty of food and water for her. After about a month or two, I noticed she has gotten really fat. I don't think she's pregnant, but I'm unsure. How can I tell? Shouldn't I be able to feel the kittens in her if she is pregnant?

If her stomach is getting rounder and its kinda hard to the touch

Yes, but it just looked like she was fat. Her stomach was still a little soft though. I'm glad it's over and I'm going to try and give them away. We can't afford to have seven cats.

Dag so she was pregant... LOL okay i' guessing you had them already... Well i wont know what to do with kittens i would wanna keep them

Right now they look like little mice, but I'm sure once they get bigger they will be absolutely adorable! I will definitely be giving them away or going to the humane society.

Hello,
I had no idea my cat was until atleast one month before she was about to give birth. Ther are small signs like she will eat more and be a little moody .
The biggest way you will be able to tell is her nipples will grow and her sides will swell . It will look like she is carrying balls in the side of her .
I was able to feel them in her , so you might wanna try that.

Thank you! She's a mommy and she seems very happy about it. She loves having the kittens around my daughter and on my daughter's blanket. I wasn't able to feel them in her, but my hubby knew that she was about to give birth.

You should to take your cat to go to the pet hospital and have a check.But I think your cat is too young to be pregnant,maybe it has eaten too much.Certainly, if you do not reassuring about your cat and don't want it has babies,I suggest that you can do your cat a sterilization at the appropriate time.This can remove you and your cat lots of trouble.
