To be fair, I think the one who bought the ring, the guy in this case, should get the ring back. =) What would the girl need it for if she doesn't love him anymore?

yup it's should be her ring but the ring signifies the engagement of the girl to the guy, morally she should give it back to the guy...

That ring has no owner-the day you put a ring onto you lover's hand, it became both your ring and hers-if you put a ring and it is thrown away, then it is a rejected ownerless ring!

It depends really . I would return it because I would be heart broken , or maybe I would keep as a memory . Id say keep it and sell it , enjoy yourself maybe . That is what I would do .

the person who bought the ring is supposed to get it back as
she broke off the engagement. that is only fair as you wereout'the price of the ring. she cannot keep it, as itis yours legally.

If the guy dumps her, then the girl should have a choice, however, to keep it, makes no sense.
If the women dumps him, she should return the ring. It is her responsibility to be an adult in the matter, plus, she does not want him, why keep the ring. By rights, It is His
