What a shock to turn on the local news and hear Scott Kalita Died doing what he loved... drag racing. My prayers go to his family.

This was quite a shock for me too when I heard the news. It is a very sad day and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and those who knew and loved him.

Yes it was not good news I love this sport and going to nhra events for 3 days of fun but this part of the sport sucks. Lets hope this makes them take A hard look at upgrading so things to make tracks safer after all the cars are getting faster faster all the time and some tracks are just out of date. The cars are not going 200 mph any more.
