If you follow the sunset, will it ever end?

i know you've heard of this before but listening to the song really made me wonder. do you think it's possible to follow the sunset? how? by foot? by some transportation?
what do you think? or do you have an answer that is more philosophical in nature rather than its literal meaning?

Well, it would probably be physically impossible, but theoretically, if you were in an airplane traveling at the precise speed, you would be able to see the sunset forever. You know how when you fly in planes sometimes you arrive only two hours after you departed on a five hour flight? It's the same principle as that, only you'd have to go slower.
