Do you drink hot tea, fast or slow?

Do you find yourself in a rush where you have
to gulp down hot coffee or hot tea?
For instance, when you are late for work and
want to get a caffiene boost, but you can't drive
and drink coffee.
Do you prefer to drink it slow?
When I make tea for myself, I love to be able to take
my time sipping tea and surfing the Internet.
I was the same way about my hot coffee.
I would get a cup and add creamer and then surf
away the morning.
But now, I'm finding that I have to drink my hot
tea fast and be done with it. Too many other things to
do. By the time, I return, my tea is cold.
And I'm not at all happy with that! LOL!

That happens to me, all the time!
It's not even funny how many times, I'll
start out with steaming hot coffee or tea
and then it goes stone cold.

I love hot tea. And cold tea!
I guess it all depends on what I'm doing or eating. In the evenings, and I'm doing my homework, I like to have a cup of hot tea to keep things going. And I sip this while I work.
If I'm eating dinner, I'm all for cold tea. I normally drink this pretty fast.
I don't mind warm tea (that's suppose to be hot), but once the tea gets cold, it's just not the same. I try not to make too much extra, just for this reason.

So true! Cold is not a good thing for tea.
If I wanted it cold, then I would refrigerate.
But hot (or warm) tea should have heat to it.

I would not be able to gulp super hot tea either.
Most times mine is just warm.

Warm tea is always soothing, especially when I have
a migraine or cramps.

I like to drink my tea slow. I make sure that when I'm going to make some yummy tea I don't have anything else to do so that I can just take my time, drink tea and just relax. I don't like to hurry too much.

It's much better when consumed slowly.
More time to savor the flavor!

My mouth is really sensative so I can't drink anything really hot. I let my coffee get warm and then drink it, same with tea and coco. I like to enjoy it though, sip it slow while enjoying a morning or at night tea before bed. It's a ritual of relaxation and I hate to rush that.

I will never rush through this favorite hot drink. I just find it meaningless to do so. I do agree life is already a rat race nowadays and so deprived. I will find ways and means to pamper myself here.
A thermos cup and/or flask will do a lot of wonders here. So may I suggest that you own one of this or both and you will never have to rush anymore.

I sip on my hot tea and sip quickly as I like it hot only. I don't like my tea warm or tepid so if it gets too cooled off I don't finish drinking it and I will soemtimes make myself another cup, if I feel like it. I like iced tea but it has to be really cold or I can't drink it. I don't drink tea very often because it has caffine in it and too much is no good for us. I also rarely drink coffee anymore for the same reason, too much caffine.

I don't drink it hot either when it's 90 degrees outside.
But sometimes when it's rainy and chilly outdoors, like
this weekend, I do enjoy a nice hot cup to warm me up.

Usually, I will down my first cup of coffee or tea and I dont even know why .I suppose it is because I think I will get a fix . I let it cool off for a good 10 mins abd then will down .My other 2 cups I will have over the course of an hour .

Good discussion..
By nature i don't like to drink hot coffee or tea.. I drink it when it is medium hot or rather warm.. And that is why i get my coffee and complete few of my jobs in between.. or even if i don't have any such commitments or task at that time, i leave it for sometime and then start drinking it,...

I like to let it cool down abit first so it is drinkable and able to drink it quickly as I only drink tea when I'm on my break at work. By the time I have made and eaten my dinner, I don't have long til I'm back so I drink it quickly but slow enough to enjoy!!! I couldn't down in one gulp, I have to enjoy and savour the moment!!! lol
I don't drink tea first thing in the morning unless I'm not at work as I have to get the bus and don't get up early enough to make a cuppa!!

Not fond much of teas, I'm referring the hot ones. But I like to drink it slow if it's really hot. But if it gets warm, I like to drink it like a water. So I heard, teas are good for your health. I love cinnamon mint tea, and the well known green tea too. =D
