For my opinion yes our eyes is the reason why we sometimes commit sin because we judge them as we see. Many of us mistaken because of our eyes. What is your opinion about it?

Yes. As much as I don't like to admit it, what we see with our eyes sometimes, scratch that, oftentimes serve as our 'first impression' on anything or anyone. May be it a person, a thing, a place or an animal. I'm just gonna tell this straightforwardly, sometimes, we cannot follow the quote, 'Don't judge a book by its cover'. It's because when we don't know a thing about anything or anyone, we rely on our first impression on it and most of the time, our eyes really do deceive us. What I really am trying to say is our eyes really can commit a sin...

Yes, I do agree with your observation that eyes have definite role to play in committing sin. But, eyes are one of the sensory organs which only relect image to our brain. I think mainly, it is our mind (brain) which prompts us to commit any sin. Our thinking process goes in our mind and our mind tells us what is right and what is wrong. So, our experiences and knowledge stored in our mind is responsible for our positive and negative action. Those who can partially see, also commit sin.......is not it?

our eyes is a wonderful gift that is given to us. it is there for us to be able to appreciate everything that is around us. we should be thankful to have them and we must take care of them because without it we aren't able to see the world's beauty. but sometimes we use them in a wrong way, as what you've said, by judging people. there's some things that the eyes could not perceive, like the beauty of the heart. it is important that we use our gift of sight for appreciating and not for looking down at people.
