Spiders!
The BIG BLACK HAIRY ones - I hate them! They give me the creeps. I shiver with fear of them and become stuck on the spot with shivers going all over me.
I know it's stupid to have this fear as they are smaller than me but I can't stand them

I am afraid of these big bees we have around our house. They are carpenter bees. I was stung by one one time and it really hurt. it was not a normal bee sting, It left a red mark on my skin for weeks.

I am afraid of snakes. Anything that slither, no legs and can move, I be too scared.
An eel, snake, a close up picture of a lizard too. Lizard reminds me of snakes. I don't fear most reptiles, but if the picture is taken up close and resembles a snake... Then I get really scared.

Live spiders are probably the things I most fear/hate. I don't really have a problem with anything else. I mean, I'm afraid of other things (like my kids getting harmed), but not when it comes to bugs, or reptiles, or whatever.
To be honest, I used to be a lot worse about it. I would freak out while watching a movie featuring spiders as the "bad guy", I'd run screaming down the street if I saw one, I couldn't even squish them because I was too afraid. But, since I started caring for children (before I had kids of my own, I worked in a day care), I've gotten a lot better, by leaps and bounds. And, that was really facilitated by my sister getting a pet tarantula (which I stayed as far away from as humanly possible), and by a little girl at the day care I used to work at, who freaked out when a small spider landed on her shoulder outside, and I had to be the calm and collected adult who could protect her from what scared her and actually move the spider away from her body.

Snakes are my biggest fear. I worked for a shirt company many years ago. I was walking through the warehouse one day past a skid with a shipment of goods and there in the corner was a snake that probably came off the truck with the skids. I live in New Jersey, USA. I left the warehouse and would not go back until it was disposed of. To this day I never knew what kind it was, and didn't care to find out, it was a snake and it just freaked me . My next fear would be those thousand leggers, they are creepy. I always called them walking eye brows.
