Hi Katherleen ! I think I'm romantic but rarely get a chance to show it. Romance is not big gestures, its a quiet commitment to make someone feel wanted, apprieciated and desirable. The little things make an incredible difference in the grand scheme of things.

I am not really a romantic person but ironically I run a website all about love and romance! (You can see it as a link on my profile page) I like a different kind of romance I guess, and am not so much into the flowery mushy kind of romantic stuff. I think its important though that if you are in a relationship to be sweet to eack other in some way or another - it keeps the relationship happier I think :)

Who does not like romance? I think most of us here love romance, without which life would become meaningless. I am romantic type and love to romance with my better half, as and when I find an opportunity to do so. Romance adds spice to our life and takes away from the boredom of life.

Who doesn't like a bit of romance in their life? Those who don't, well, its their choice I guess, too much reality getting in the way as you've already mentioned. Perhaps those who haven't experienced or not really interested in romance think that its over rated but, other people still do experience it which makess it a good thing.

I enjoy the thought of romance, and I believe it still exists, but it only lasts so long. I'm in love with my girlfriend and we have two children together. Romance takes a back seat to our everyday activities such as work and child rearing. I still like to bring her home flowers and pamper her with gifts, however it's not an every day occurrance like it was before we had kids.

Romance is great However, over a period of time when it is not reciprocated or appreciated, it drains you, and turns you away from making an effort. The key is whether you continue to try and make a difference
