What are your favorite makeup brush brands?

My favorite brushes are from MAC and some mineral makeup companies like Lumiere and Forever Female. I want to try Sonia Kashuk and some random art brushes but they're not available in our country.

I just buy any kind of brush. I'm not a big fan of using brushes to apply make up. Sometimes, I still prefer using a sponge, so I'm not picky with the brushes. Is there really a difference among brands? Which ones do the best job? I'd love to read up on what the other myLotters have to say.

I used to buy cheap makeup brushes and they do shed a lot and are very scratchy.
