After the Boston-Lakers NBA Finals Series, all i can say is that this dude is seriously overrated! He was able to three peat with Shaq but alone he appears helpless. Too much hype is all i can say. What about you guys, what do you think?

I don't think that the Black Mamba is overrated. I mean he can do a lot of things on the court. On both ends of the floor, he excels. I agree with jimonokota on the Celtics being just the better team. And "team" is the key word.

I don't think hes overrated but I do think there was too much hype about him when his team was winning so much. I'll say this about Kobe. Kobe is no Michael Jordan and the way they were hyping him made it seem like he was Michael Jordan. You see great players always had help winning titles and it will never change. Shaq had Kobe than later had Wade. Jordan had Pippen. I wonder if Jordan would have won a title without Pippen? I would assume not considering how nba history works. Magic had Kareem. The greatest player by himself was Wilt Chamberlin who once average over 50 points per game in 1 season and still didn't when a title. For Wilts career he averaged over 25 rebounds per game. Wilt had help winning titles when he did.

kobias is definitely one of the best players in the world today. probably top 5 in terms of talent and skill but when in comes to leadership i think it is still one area kobe needs to improve on.
i think the loss to the celts will help kobe mature even more. hopefully, he uses the experience to be a better player next season.

Shaq never won one alone either. He played second fiddle to Dwayne Wade.

listen to me.
kobe is not overrated.
before this season, he had alot of bad seasons. but this season they came to the finals. next year they will win the nba finals for sure when they get andrew bynum back. so kobe is an amazing player.
