Nothing happened on June 06, 06.
It's just myths. There's no proof of it, and if something was to happen, shouldn't it be our own personal choice to make the most of these remaining years? I don't believe it. But that's not a reason why I shouldn't be making the most out of my life now.

Right, nobody can know something like that, on the other hand it is a great conversation maker because people like to talk about this kind of thing. I always pull the Maya 21 December 2012 end of a cycle thing and it gets people kind of edgy.

Hi rvangel, Welcome to myLot, I hope that you will like it here and make both friends and money. As for your discussion, I don't expect anything out of the ordinary to happen in December of 2012. There have been many predictions about the end of the world as we know it, but nothing has ever happened. There has been much interest in the date December 21, 2012 because the Mayan long calendar ends on that day, but the fact is it had to end sometime. If the human cycle does end on that or any other date, it will be because we caused it to happen. There is no fixed date for the world to end, but as humans we can bring about our own destruction. Blessings.

Typically the reason for the 2012 extinction thoughts is that that is where the Maian Calender ends. Well, all calendars end somewhere, even the perpetual ones are cyclic in nature.

i think it's a bunch of baloney.....people have been saying such and such year and time is going to be the end of the world for centuries now.....and it hasn't happened yet.
NOBODY can know when the end will come, and people that say it will happen on a certain date are full of doo-doo.

I think it willl only be a time of evolution and that people will rise up and stop wars and rethink energy uses and that we will turn things around to make things better here on Earth!
It will be a time for a new election/new thinking on Earth! I see it not as an end, although it will be an end of the negative way we have lived..but I am hopeful we will have a better leader then and global negotiations and PEACE! (One thing ha s to end for a new thing that is better to come to the forefront!!)
