It's not just about writing...

Thank you. You know when we were taking the photo of the lone tulip, my husband was taking it and he didn't zoom in. He had a picture of the whole barren garden, stem and all. I said, "That's not the way you take a picture of a flower!" and I took that one. When I went to see my mother in her new digs (retirement residence) near the exit there were two photos on the wall of tulip heads, just like that one, a yellow one even. I pointed them out to my husband and said, "See?" I have some really weird pictures my daughter took in the winter time that I'm not sure whether I should submit or not. My darling husband had left the hose on. Our faucet sprays so even though your hose (trigger) isn't spewing water, water is coming out of the faucet. Our wheel barrow and hose got covered in water and froze. My younger daughter took some pictures. One of them is really weird, it looks like a nest of insect eggs or something. Just don't know whether to submit it to Triond. Thanks for your support.

My sister has been travelling a lot since she retired and she has taken some awesome photos. I have suggested she submit them to travel magazines and such to make a little extra cash but she just shrugs. I would love to be a great photographer but my passion is in writing. Good luck!
