To be honest with you, no I have never really thought about learning a different language. I guess it is not something that I feel that I need to do. I learned some languages at school in which I did really well. But unless I started to do a lot of travelling in the future, or I was going to get a job in a place that I needed languages then there is no point.

dianagnes, thank you for loving my accents! ;)
As for me, i really want to learn other language that i think that i can study. I have long decide not to learn mandarin because i know i wouldnt be able to pronounce the words well. So, despite my oriental look, dont talk to me in mandarin hahha..
I'm longing to learn italian and japanese as i think i can pronounce their words better. And after that, i'm eyeing for french or dutch, though i know those will give me headache lol.
But i'm still saving for my italian course, so yeah, let's see.
Great topic here ;)

I am interested in learning how to speak Danish since my mother's family came from Denmark, and we were raised with some Danish Culture. Unfortunately Dad didn't think we needed to learn Danish when we were growing up, so Mom didn't teach us. I wish she hadn't listened to him.

I am not interested in learning any more new languages. I already have to learn 2 languages, Swedish and English. If it would have been my own decision I would have chosen to learn English only, but Swedish is Finland's second language...So its taught in schools.

My family is Italian, however only the older generations are capable of speaking the language. I have always wished that I learn another language and I figure now, why not with my own. I have spoken with my parents and grandparents asking why they never thought it was necessary to teach us the language and why it was only spoke amongst them. I think it is just because they never wante dthe kids to know what they were saying.

I am very intersted in languages and there are many languages that I would like to learn. I would like to improve my Japanese. I have studied Japanese before, but that was a couple of years ago, and I only remember some of it. I am also interested in learning Chinese, I think could be very interesting. I have studied a little Chinese online, but I want to spend some more time studying. I have studied a bit of Russian, too. I got some books and cds from the library and that was a big help, because I need help wirh the pronounciation etc.
