Who cooks at home?

In your culture who cooks: wife or husband or 50/50? In our Indian culture most often it is the wife who cooks. But I have seen some families who share, or even otherwise the husband would wash the dishes. But most often it is the wife who cooks even after both would come back from the work. I say alone so it's me always

I am the cook at home. Not that I am a good cook, I just make very simple things, frying eggs, frying veggies, boiling water and making soup. That's about it. There is no one else here, so I have to do all the cooking.

Hmmm... I don't know whether it is a pleasant experience. I don't mind cooking for myself, but staying alone can be boring sometimes. But even i don't cook well there is none to complain so it's kinda good...

I do the cooking in my household. My boyfriend cooks about once every 6 months. He expects that the wife cooks the meal.

haha... i don't know what wife thinks about it! What do you think: Is it fair or ok? But I think much often couple find it ok as long as they do it out of love. Maybe it becomes tough when it is imposed... I don't know how couples adjust cos I am not married.

i cook, but my husband also cook. we always help each other in cooking, and cleaning the house. what i can do, he can also do it.........it doesn't matter to us who's the man or the woman. in our generation, we should learn everything inside our home. cooking together is one of our bonding time.

I quite agree with it. I think it should be a joint project. It's not fair to put the burden upon one person. But yes...if one works outside and one works at home. But if both works outside I think it's needed to learn how to cook whether boys or girls.
