I am just mad right now I don't even know what to do with myself.
Two nights ago my sister handed me a $100 dollar bill that was given to her, to give to me for my upcoming birthday. At the same time she handed me the money, I was handling money and breaking a larger bill for someone else. I put the $100 in my pants pocket so I would know where it was and NOT lose it, and when I got home I would put it in my wallet.
I went home, got ready for bed, went to sleep, and next day went to work. NOT a good day either, 2 flat tires, but thats another discussion. When I found out I had to pay for new tires I realized I had the $100 but that it was home in my pants. So, I wound up not getting home until the next night and when I checked for the money, it was GONE!!!!!!!!!!
Of course in a panic I looke din every picket and then went down to the car to double check that it didn't fall out of my pocket, which it was not found in the car.
I was so mad and angry about losing it, but more so about what a waste the money was and how it was just thrown out like that.
Money does not just get up and walk away and I only live with my sister, who I doubt would steal from me, but the thing is that when I got the flats 2 men from my job handles my car and getting it fixed all day. Do you think if they found the money they would've taken it? If so, how do I handle confronitng them, or should I even bother? Also, what would you do if you found money in someone else's car or home?

I am sorry that you lost your money.Ask your sister about it and the guy who fix your car.If it still nowhere to be found then consider it spent.Do not waste your time worrying about the money that was already gone.Anyway, if someone had found it and never return it to you i do believe that the person will lose more one day and you will be bless with more than you had lost.

Awww what a bummer! You're having a bad week!!
It's difficult as without proof you couldn't confront them but it could have just got higher and higher in your pocke and then fell out whilst you were just walking about - sometimes money turns up when we stop looking but I know what you mean about it feeling like a waste. It's a tidy sum too so such a shame! x

It is funny, (not funny as in ha ha) on Friday I had a really bad day, I even wondered if in fact it was Friday 13th again. And here you are having had a bad friday too.
I am sorry that you have lost such a large amount of money, I wonder if it has fallen out of your pocket somewhere along the way and if it did fall out of your pocket into your car then it is possible that it has been found by the men fixing your car. Unfortunately you may never find out.

I think the first thing I would do is ask your sister if she happened to find the $100, or see it somewhere. The second thing I would do is go back to the tire place and ask to see the 2 guys who worked on your car and ask them, face to face, if they saw $100 lying somewhere in your car while they worked on it. I'd be sure to look at their eyes and take note of their body language when they answer you. Sometimes, people who lie give themselves away by the way they react to confrontation.
If you feel that they are lying when they say they didn't find it (and, of course, they WILL say they didn't find it, or you'd have it back already), you won't be able to do anything about it except never go to that place again to have your car worked on. You COULD talk to the owner about it, and tell him that you know those guys, or at least one of those guys, were lying about it and for that reason you'll never use his shop again. You won't get it back if they took it because it would be your word against theirs and, without proof, you won't get it back.
The other thing I'd do is retrace my steps and go over every single path I took that day.
If I found money in someone's house or car, I'd let them know I found it and hand it to them. If I just left it, I would worry that someone else might steal it. It would be dishonest to even THINK about keeping it. If no one says it's theirs, then you get to keep it.
