where do you squeze your toothpaste from? top middle or bottom?

Well, I squeeze from the middle when its a new tube of toothpaste. Once it gets down to about half a tube I start pushing it from the bottom. Weird discussion...lol... My advice to you is to stop being so annoyed by little things, there are plenty of big things our family members do that are annoying too...lol... The thing that really annoys me when it comes to toothpaste is, I have a little sister, she's 18 so she's not so little, and she makes the top of the toothpaste a mess, she's a total pig child and doesn't understand the meaning of clean, but when she uses the toothpaste she gets it all over the cap and stuff, that is annoying...lol

Lol, me and you are the same. I squeeze from the bootm and hate when somoene else come and squeeze from the middle or top and squash the tube lol. I just feel it is better to use it that way

I have the habit of squeezing the tube from the bottom ..but it does not stops there ...I have a weird habit of folding it once ..as it comes to an end and clamping it with a binder ..(u know that clip which we use for binding papers...)as the toothpaste continues to be used i fold it over and re clamp it so that the remaining toothpaste does not goes at the end part ...i know its a weird but it helps me to consume most of the toothpaste...actually it helps me alot of trouble of squishing right from the bottom to the top....

I used to squeeze my toothpaste tube from the middle but my younger brother always rants about it since then I've been trying to squeeze it from the bottom until I got used to it already. Now, I get annoyed to those who squeeze it from the middle, even my mom does it.

From the bottom to make sure that the tube gets used. I try to roll it up from the end to keep the paste going to the top of the tube. I try not to squeeze in the middle, when I was younger I didn't pay it that much attention. But now that I have gotten older I do. Have a good one.

It's not just you, beieve me. This is one of my ongoing complaints living with my sister. I always squeeze teh toothpaste from the bottom, one so we don't waste any but 2, because if it is done this way it will always be up towards the top and you wont have to squeeze and squeeze and squeeze teh tupe to get it out. She twists it and squeezes it over and over which makes it harder to get the toothpaste out. I have mentioned this to her and her sarcastic answer is, "what are there rules now for squeezing the toothpaste"? Thanks though because now you made me think of another discussion I could start on bathroom peeves that I have...lol

usually i squeze my toothpaste from bottom firstly but my husband always squeze toothpaste from the middle. since i have problem with my teeth then i use special toothpaste which different with my husband and i am glad by this one cause it means he won't squeze toothpaste from middle again cause he has his own now

I will squeeze the toothpaste from wherever I put my hand on it really but when it gets all squished all over then I will start at the bottom and squeeze it all neatly to the top and roll up the end. Then it looks neat and tidy and its all ready to use. I have lots of odd little habits and likes and hates and things that I am picky about. Sometimes sharing one bathroom with four other people is a big pain and I hate it. Ok, I admit it, I hate it all the time but no choice really since we only have the one bathroom.

I just squeeze it where ever I can. But I went now and checked before writing this response and it looks like the last time I used it, I squeezed it from the middle as the top is a mess. I need to brush my teeth yet, this morning, and I will be cleaning it up and fixing it so the toothpaste is more even. I don't think about where I queeze it from, I only think about that I need to use it to brush my teeth. I am the only one using that tube so it doesn't matter where or how I squeeze it as no one else is sharing it with me.

If I have a big, fat tube I start in the middle or all over and when its gets down in content start from the bottom and curl up the end until its near the top and the tube gets empty. If I have a little tube, sometimes I do, I start at the bottom and curl up the end till the tube's finished. I don't think thats a bad way to do it, do you ?

Haha! I've never thought about this before and it's made me laugh! I squeeze it from the top at the beginning and work my way down depending on how much I've used! I guess it would make sense to start at the bottom. Oh well!

Yeah, I hear ya, I like to squeeze it from the bottom up, but someone always comes along and squeezes it right in the middle, makes me mad too..lol I think its my husband that does it...haha

i squeeze it from the bottom. i just want it to be organized & i don't want some toothpastes to be left behind.

I squeeze from the bottom since it's the most logical thing to do... I hate it when others use the toothpaste and squeeze from the middle...I have to start squeezing from the bottom again!!!

The same fact occurs in our family also! As I always prefer to sqeeze from the bottom, some one sqeezes it from the middle and faces my loud voice. To sqeeze from the bottom is only advised for the best utility of this item. Thanks for this topic!

i Squeeze from the middle. its a habbit i dont know. but i do preffer the bottles of tooth paste over tube.

I squeeze from the middle unless my toothpaste tube is almost empty than I will squeeze it from the bottom. I always lose my cap somehow though and end up with a mess. Right now I cant wait to start my next tube because the top is missing.

I usually squeeze the toothpaste from bottom to top. It is easier doing this specially if the tooth paste almost run out. Well, I told my kids how to do it and explain to them why I like it that way and they learn to do it too.

I guessed we should be squeezing our toothpaste from the bottom.I just wonder why other do squeeze it from the middle, that we have to consume it from the bottom up to the opening. If we squeeze it at the middle, it will be hard for us to consume what it left from the bottom. And still needed to be squwwzw upward.

I feel the same too when that happens. I don't know maybe the toothpaste really looks more empty if it is squeezed in the middle and I really don't like the look of that. Also it looks neat whenever I squeeze from the bottom and also if you squeeze at the bottom you know exactly how much toothpaste is still left.
