Something is wrong with my computer and I dont know what it is, I cant open anything else other than MyLot.com. I cant open yahoo, I can open google but the web pages that google gives out cant be opened. I tried to contact my ISP (PLDTDSL) but they're not saying anything. This has been going on for 4 days now. Did I catch a virus? Or is something wrong with my computer? Has anyone experienced this? I need some help please...
I cant even open my emails, and Im beginning to feel paranoid about this, what if somebody hacked my account? I dont know what to do. Im from the Philippines, I know we just experienced a major typhoon here, but this has been going on way before the typhoon.

Do you have an operating system disc? If so, then reinstall your operating system. If the problem still persists then it's unlike to be your computer. If there is a connection problem though, then I don't see how you would be able to access Mylot and nothing else, sounds like the work of a hacker!

Hello sparkster! My computer is now working fine. I really thought I was hacked! But when I tried to download AVG from neighboring internet shops, they were also experiencing the same. So I called up my ISP again, and they admitted that the problem was with them. I was really that close to reformatting my computer! Thanks

Hello dseno! Its now 6am and my computer is ok, Im planning to switch my browser to firefox. The problem was actually with PLDT, because all the neighboring computer shops are also experiencing the same. I hope their computers are working fine now. Thanks for the help!

I suggest you contact your ISP, if there's a problem somewhere then they'll let you know. If everything's okay on their end then its something to do with your computer.

Thanks for the reply, I did contact them 3 days ago, they made me do some things in my computer to check if its working, when everything checked out at my end, they said that they would contact me, but they never did. Yesterday, I called them up and asked for my status, now they have a reason, they said the storm caused it. But I told them that my problem occured way before the storm, they are insisting on it, and said that they are already doing something about it. Im hoping its true, I'll try to contact them again later.
