My friends and I were discussing the "Going Green" issue and an interesting point was brought up by one of my friends who had spent time in Africa working with one of the relief organization. She said that she thought it was shameful to try and save the world before you try and save its people. What do you think? Should we focus our efforts to obliverate poverty and disease or should we focus on the planet?

Hi TCampbell, I wish we can do 2 things simultaneously, Since both area needs great attention and help..I wish everyone will work on it and I know it's very possible about "going green" especially the area where people continuously cut trees and destroy the mother nature, wish they will realize that there will be no tomorrow for a change, we have to do it now or else only the people will suffer with all the effects. If everyone also is concern about the cleanliness of their environment, there will be less diseases!

a great thought. well the problems are plenty.with people come innumerable problems but let us not divert our attention and focus. let each one work out the area on one wants to work on. and let me tell you every thing surrounds around not only human beings .there are as they say big ans small around 84 00 000 of species and each one has a life. ones gain is others loss!!!!
