Yeah, then we "all" find it normal, and nobody complained anything ( i'm now like 21h old so it was like 7-8 y ago)
I really would have been happy to know him he wasn't allowed to do that, all school knew that.
If you didn't something bad, or he got complains from the other teachers, he just took the stick and give you like 5 hits in the hand, they hurt like hell, allmost you bleed, and I heard one time he broke somebodies hand with that stick coz the kind tried to avoid the hit and he got it a little bit higher.
What do you think about that? what insane people likes to hit 5th graders? Should he be in jail in your opinion?
If he would hit my future kid, I would sue him, the school, the ministery, the state and evan the president for allowing this to happen!

violance is more and more commmon nowadays. it's sad that this happened to you. i also know a simmilar case. a drawings teacher made some of their students drink the filthy water the children used to draw, just because she got mad about a phone call

Teachers have been using corporal punishments since long. I remember my friend started bleeding from nose after a teacher slapped him. There are many other instances. I do know sometimes children do need to be controlled but i dont think hitting is a way to get acheive it.
Ive read rports in newspapers about teaches pnching students, Ive seen students being made to wipe out the whole blackboard with their nose with their hand tied behind their back .. and many other such things.
Maybe they get a sense of superiority by hitting children. I dont know why someone would do it, maybe they do it because students cannot hit them back there so ther are free to do whatever they want ?? ..I do know however, that such teachers should be expelled from school and their teaching licenses being cancelled.
