well...
my sister has a whole lot of coins...
and so i decided to help her by using the coins and giving her money back in notes...
i think it is better as we have lesser coins and we will be able to diposite money into my very hungry bank account...
so i guess i will be using coins for a really long time...
do you bring coins or notes for lunch money?

hi raclie, good that you're able to use your coinse. I used to carry a lot of coins with me but not anymore. In our country we need to have to bring tons of coins to be able to use coz the value of it is very small. So usually i'd bring with me notes and leave my coins inside my piggy bank. ;)

I also have got many coins.Because it was ever said that the value of coins will rise,so at that time,I collect coins every day.Long time passed,it did't come true.So now I began to use them trying my best. But sometimes,I can't use them to buy something, and get more coins instead. It makes me headache.Really! For example,I take seven coins to buy something, but I need to pay eight coins,so I have to use notes to change. And so I got more two coins.

Well, actually,I save coins every day. When my parents have coins in their pockets, they'll give them to me and I'll put them in my box,And when there're too many coins in the box,I'll exchange them into notes in banks. So I save a lot of money and I can use the money to buy something I like.^_^

wow...
that is lucky...
make sure you have a big box though...
or you will have to go to the bank ofter!!!
lol...
well...
i dont get loose change from my parents, as i am one of six children and it will be rather unfair to just give it to me...
lol..
and having money of your own will make you more aware of your own spending..
lol..
thanks and hope you find something you like!!!

Most times, I try to keep actual
notes and bills for lunch and other
small expenses. Those are just easier
to handle, more portable and less
heavy in the pockets!
I give the dollar bills (notes) to my
spouse and he uses those.
Personally, I carry my debit/credit card
everywhere so that I can make purchases
if I need something. Even lunch!
You never know!

I do bring coins and bills everyday. There are times when I purchase something and the storekeeper or the cashier doesn't have enough coins for change. And I do not really want waiting for my change so if I can give the exact amount, I do. That's why I do bring loose change. If you have lots of coins, you might as well deposit the coins in the bank. Or, you can also look for people who are willing to change your coins with notes.

hmm,...
i agree that having to wait for change can be annoying...
but if we use the coins we will not have to wait for the change as well...
since lunch is about 2 dollars..
so using coins will be allright...
lol..
and in my country, exchanging coins will be charged handling fees if you are above a certain age...
so i am not able to change money without losing money...
and i dont want to trouble my friends, so i think it is just easier to bring coins to school...
thanks for the good response by the way...
