c is the most important langoage, it is known as middle level language too as it has the features of LOW LEVEL LANGUAGES and it is actually a 3rd GENERATION HIGH LEVEL LANGUAGE.
C is a structured language, as it has the feature to divide program into many sub programs using functions
C was created in bell labs (late 1960) by Denies Ritchie, it was actually ment for building unix, but before its development , ken Thomson created unix using assembly, and lately those codes are rewritten in c, few codes of unix is still in assembly.
Karnighan and Ritchie published papers on c language in the year of 1972
the published paper are formed into book called ANSI C (ALSO KNOWN AS K N R)
