What are you worried about, right now?

Right now, I am supposed to be transferring my website domains or getting rid of them, but I'm posting online. If I don't update soon, I'll end up paying nearly $70 this year. What a waste of money! I have better things to spend it on. But, I have until the end of the month to worry. And, I am worried constantly! I go to bed thinking about what I should be doing and how I'm just putting it off and hoping that Yahoo Domains won't gouge me at the end of the month. But I know they will. What are you most worried about this very minute? Not something big like the future or being able to afford your child's college education. Something little and ordinary that is worrisome, but is bothering you really bad. Please share, so we can commiserate and talk about it.

Let's see....losing my guy over gas prices. I live just about 17 miles from him (one way); he is considering breaking it off because of the cost of gas (plus the tolls may be going up). I suppose if he didn't live with an ex-lover (long, complicated story), I could go over there, or if he decided for the two of us to live together...but nope! So I guess the man of my dreams will drive away. Everything else is rather large, so I'm trying to ignore all of that, before I make myself sick!

Yes, that's the feeling I'm getting from him. It's pathetic...I don't have a job, but believe me, I'd figure out a way to see him! What a sad, pathetic life I have! Remember the Dunkin Donuts man, It's time to make the donuts? Here's my new line, It's time to clean the toys! (and don't forget to check the batteries!)

Is that what you man is telling you? That he can't afford to drive to see you? Couldn't he come up with a better excuse than that? Guys are so silly sometimes. Best wishes on hooking up with your honey! Be well.

I'm worried about not finding a job this week and therefore not having money for bills or rent in July and having to then move to my uncle's house with his witch of a wife and having to put down my cat (who is my child) because she's not adoptable and the witch doesn't like animals. I know that's not something little but that's what I'm worried about this very minute.

I know you're very qualified for your chosen profession. But if that doesn't work out, there are always other options. I was talking to a college student earlier on MyLot, who was looking for part time work to support himself and pointed out the idea of him becoming a security guard. I have an ex-military friend who does that sometimes. It doesn't pay that much there, I'm sure, but you would not have to move in with your uncle. It would be some money and depending on how much you pay for rent/expenses, it might be enough. And those kinds of jobs are abundant there. Just trying to offer a helpful suggestion! I guess it's not the ideal solution. I've still got my fingers crossed that you find something in your current field or something that you would enjoy doing. That's always the ideal solution.

Thanks for the best response! And thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into that. I knew someone who did it a year ago and made min wage doing it but something is something. My mom and I actually thought about it once before and then we were like umm maybe not given how Huntsville has been lately. It's crazy. I got offered a teller job months ago in a bank for really good pay and turned it down quick because not a day goes by here now when 2-3 banks don't get held up w/force. The sad thing, it's usually done by ppl under 18!!! I'd pick security work over bank teller anyday.

It is a worry I'm actively giving to God, every time I start to worry about it I pray about letting it go continuously. On July first my rent will be more than doubled, and I'm not quite sure how I'm going to pull that off. Thanks to a anonymous person I'll be fine for a couple of months, but then there is always after that. But I'm not in charge, and I know He will take care of me.

just the cost of living in general.everything's getting so ridiculously expensive,it's getting harder and harder every month.and that's with cutting out, conserving power, etc. it seems you don't save anything with power cause by the time your cutting back would have showed up on the bill, they've used that time to give themselves an increase again

Isn't it the truth! I really can remember when everything was cheaper. Guess we got a huge break on prices for a long time. It's all catching up with us now.

I am worried about my mother right now. She is having a rough time keeping a job. She is a hair stylist. The last person she worked for accused her of stealing. My mother has never stole anything and she is a very kind and honest person. Anyhow she quit working with this lady because of the stress she put her through. I hope and pray tommorrow she is able to get on at another place. She use to work with this lady that she is trying to get a hob with. I just hope that everything goes well for her this time arounf.

I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to manage to get everything done that needs to be done before my husband deploys in August! Right now we have our spare bedroom, more as a junk room, where everything is just kind of piled in there. We need to get it cleaned out and organized before my husband leaves, because it's the room that has the backdoor in it, and my husband is working on putting up a fence in our backyard, so I will be able to let the dogs out without having to go out in the freezing cold this winter to tie one up (she runs away if I'm the one to let her out, but she listens to my husband). He also has to get his truck running again, so it can be parked at our house, instead of leaving it as his friend's house where it is right now! Then there's all the normal stuff that I have to get done everyday, regardless of what is going on! Plus we are trying to stock up on things that are too heavy for me to carry (like dog food and cat litter) while I'm carrying my toddler. It's getting to be crunch time!

Just keep making those lists and checking off stuff. Fingers crossed! You'll get everything done I'm sure. Probably the last week or two will be really busy. But you'll get everything.

You are so right about that! That back fence is going to be a big deal when he's deployed. We are still trying to get ours built. It's taking forever!

I guess thats what it is all about, doing things step by step and not getting overwelmed by your worries. Also realising that the big things can be broken down into little easily achieveable goals.

I have given up on worrying about anything. Two months ago I had no job and no prospects. I knew I needed to worry then but I did not because it was not going to be fun. Big worries are never fun so I just worked on trying to get myself away from an unproductive situation and it happened. I convinced my wife it was useless for me to stay at home and do nothing so I moved to my home province. I did not have a place to stay so I worried a little about that and my brother offered to let me stay in a little pad at the back of his house where the male helper used to sleep. I have no tv but I have a bathroom and my computer is connected to his dsl line. He has asked me to help in his farm projects. I do some research for him and locate project studies and stuff like that and we are going to plant bananas. In one year's time we should get an income from the bananas. I do a lot of Mylotting and derive a small income from it. I also have another internet thingy which is bringing in a few bucks. The big thing is that the small worries seem to have been taken away from me and I have stopped worrying at all. I should be worried really but I am not. There is one thing that is going to make it big for me, as in like big, like Bill Gates and maybe even bigger. I could even buy me my own sovereign country with it and it should worry me a little bit because it seems so surrealistic, not being worried and all. I have been dreaming about this for 10 years and now it is upon me and it seems poised to happen even without my intervention. Strange. It is going to happen and all I need to do is look in its direction and it is mine. Does this help?

Hrmm at the moment I have two things on my mind... how to stop my 2 year old from climbing up onto her big sisters top bunk! Also that my son has unplugged our foxtel and I can't figure out how to plug it back in (because I am too short to see all the plug holes!) so we can record a program that my husband wants to watch that is on while he is at work. Ahh isn't it good to have worries that are so mild, I am glad that I can appreciate that these are just light things to have on my mind. I am grateful that my life is happy and flowing well at the moment, lets hope it continues that way.

The exams definitely. On Wednesday, I will have 2 exams, Economics and French culture. I have just finished the French and Chinese Culture today. Those exams are really tiresome. I have to spend a large amount of time on them. All these exams are not easy for me to go. A lot of things need to me keep in mind. I just have one day now to prepare myself for those 2 to come. I just hope I can do it well and may these end as soon as possible. I am quite tired these days.

Haha this is actually nice! Knowing about other people's problems makes me want to deal with mine. It's quite selfish but I'm really glad I don't have to face the same problems some of you guys have. Anyway, right now my biggest worry is landing a job. I've been unemployed for a few months now which is a little stressful.

Right now I wondering what I'm going to do this summer. In two days I'll have my last state exam and I have to prepare for it. Physics is probably the hardest subject I've ever taken. I know I will pass but I'm aiming very high, so hopefully I will get there. I also need to start working in the summer so I can pay some of my bills. I'm worried about where I should work at and what new challenges I will face.

Something little..hm...I'm worried about my motorbike driving license. I have soon done all the lessons and I have to start doing the tests. Handling test and driving test. Handling is the harder part. Slow driving and turning ain't that easy, It worries me if I fail. Since if I fail handling I fail the driving in town test. Driving in town is easy, I know all the rules and where I need to drive, but I tend to forget my driving license tests as I have more important things in my mind.

Let's see. Right now my worry of the day is what to do all day? Just kidding! I have way too much stress on me these days and I don;t know where to start with this question. I don't have any little worries that I can tell you about, they are all big worries, as I don't sweat the small stuff. There are too many big worries to worry about the little things. My biggest worry right now is what to do about my husband. I left him almost 5 months ago now, and he wants me back and I still love him so I don't know what to do about it. The reason I left him, or one of the reasons I should say, is because he gambled away every thing we had and we had to claim bankruptsy and he got real mean to me, never hitting, and I couldn't take it anymore. So I moved from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Calgary, Alberta, 1400 KM away. He says he has changed and I can have the bank cards and take care of all the finiances, which is what I wanted when I was with him. He makes really good money since he is in management at work, and we would not have any money problems if I took care of the money. But there is more to all of this then just the money, it's called trust. And I don't know if I can trust that he will really let me take care of our finiances and trust that he really quit gambling. I know you said to not post anything really big here, but I couldn't resist as I need some advice of what to do. I am thinking that I should just do nothing and stay put here in Calgary.

I have surgery a week from tomorrow, that's a bit worrysome, but sadly I've spent very little time thinking about it. The brakes on hubby's car just went and he's now taking my car to and from work, which is going to use up more gas, and we can't afford to get his brakes fixed because we're not even sure we can afford all our bills this coming week because we were bad and overspent this month. Other than that, I'm just worried about the economy and what our world is going to be like in the near future if things don't change. It's sort of scary and makes me think of all sorts of horrible things, like what is the point, why does life have to be so unfair, why isn't there somewhere I can live where I'm not ruled by the government, etc etc. Yeah I just been in one of those moods lately. Hope it passes soon.

My biggest worry right this minute is I can't remember when my daughter's basketball camp starts and I can't find any information about it on the local website. Other than that I am worry free. I try not to worry about things too much. I used to be a worrywart but I'm trying to turn over a new leaf...lol. It's easier said than done, but I find I am more relaxed this way.
