What do you think about that? I have a friendly Beagle, he looks exactly like Maylo from The Mask, and my neighbour painted him pink ( I live at an apartament at 4th floor and the guy is at 3th floor ) and he's a mean and &&&&&& person and he was annoing that sometimes my dog barks [ rarely ] when some of the friends or family come home ( happy barks not mean and loud!!)
I was little and I wasn't for sure if it was him but when I saw him he asked me "why is my dog pink and he laugh out loud" and nobody knew he was pink except family and friends!
I was little back then, but for exemple if I were to sue him, how much would I get or what problems would he have in SUA or other country?

I'd probably call the police on him. That's cruel and would definitely be considered animal abuse. I'd probably also make him pay for the vet/groomer visit to remove the paint safely. That's truly disgusting.

that was a very mean thing from your neighbour to do. my neighbour has a dog (i like at a house) and his dog barks a lot even at night and we can't sleep because of the dog. but i never thought of painting him pink...omg...that's cruelty towards animals.
i don't think you can sue him, because you can't prove that this guy painted your dog. you probably could only prove that he doesn't like your dog. you should keep your dog away from him!

I'm sure that would be considered animal cruelty in my country and he would most definately be charged for it. I'd have reported it to the cops immediately if anyone ever did that to my dog, but fortunately my dog stays with me at all times or is safe indoors so no one would ever get the opportunity to do anything remotely bad to him.
