When going in the Dollar tree who comes out with more than what u wanted

Oh my gosh yes. You plan on just getting a little and you come out with alot. Got to love dollar stores.

I love the Dollar Tree and the discount dollar stores that we have where everything is a dollar..they have alot of everything...They even have nice things that can be put together and make a nice basket of goodies for christmas and other special occassions..and great stocking stuffer stuff too.. Can't beat the deals you get at the Dollar Tree.. and alot even me included wouldn't be able to get by without it...

seems like I always come up with less then I intended..Money seems to be gone before I spend it;_|+

I dont go very much any more...but when I do...yea I always seem to have to get something for all my children, and I always see something that I think I might use SOMEDAY and think since it is soo cheap I might as well get it...you never know when you may need it and when you do the Dollar Tree will be closed and you will have to go somewhere else and pay much more for the same thing lol...especially during any holiday season :)

I do, it is too easy to do that in that kind of store.

Yes, I go in there for one or two things and by the time I finish looking for what I came for I have picked up things I really didn't even need. By it being a dollar you just say you can't beat it and buy it.

I love the dollar stores, I can go in or one thing and come out with a dozen things. Is too hard to pass up a bargain. I always find stuff I didn't know I needed.

LOL, I go in there for a few things, and I discover all kinds of stuff I need, the only thing is I didn't know I needed them.

I went to the Dollar Tree yesterday for one container of bleach. I ended up spending 33 dollars. But I got so many things that I really needed. I got my fabric softener, furniture polish, soap powder, drain cleaner and so many other essential items. Dollar Tree is the best of all the dollar stores. Why would you by a birthday card or any other card anywhere else when you can buy them at Dollar Tree at 2 for a dollar. Lloyd

I do all the time. I'll go in and tell myself that I only want to spend x amount of dollars, but the entire time I'm in there, and especially if they have a lot of new stuff that I like, I will talk myself into buying more than I had planned. Great discussion.

That's so true, I believe that to be the trick of it all. If you go into a dollar store because you have thoughts of saving some change, but then you go crazy buying up things just because it's cheap but you don't really need it, then what was the point. You only went down to buy paper towels that cost 1.99 in a regular store, & you went to the dollar store & bought you paper towels pluse 10 other things bringing your total to over $11.00. Did you really save money or did you spend a lot more then what you planed ???? .....Hmmmmmmmmm. Great Question.

Yes I usually come out with more than I went there for. Just as because I remember things as I see them, so that's why most of the time I come out of the Dollar Tree with more items than I attented to get.

I usually participate in swaps, and once I went in there solely to get one or two things, ended up coming up without a few dollars. But I truly enjoy going there.

Girl that is the 100 dollar store...You expect to spend 5 dollars maybe and boy o boy...money gone

Sometimes I do. I really try to make a point only to buy what I intended to if it's more of a planned shopping trip. Sometimes I only allow for one or two purchases that weren't planned. I really try to stick with the budget that I have going inside my head. It just seems if I put my mind to not spending a lot of money, I just won't. I just tell myself I can't afford it and let that be it.

They created the Dollar Stores just for me disvachic! They found a way for me to justify just spending a dollar..........and on and on, I love the dollar stores and get lots of good stuff from them. I always go in for an item or two and end up spending more. Thank goodness everything costs only a dollar! Take care...good question...
