What makes you feel shy?

I always get shy when someone compliments ..its like i don't receive compliments too often...so when I get one , I get shy ..Also when my parents try to tell funny anecdotes around lot of people its definitely turn my cheeks red....

I turn red everytime people makes a comment, good or bad, about me. For example in a group of friends discussing about something and suddenly the topic shifts to a weird behaviour they noticed in me, I wished they'd just stop talking about it and shift to something else to talk about. I also get shy when I feel I don't look good enough.

guess we are not the only ones to get flush when people talk about you...there are hell lots of people out there..Some are just good at hiding others are just like me..I feel as if someone has put two tomatoes on to my cheeks....

I am famous for turning red and always felt so silly when this would happen . My whole cheeks used to flush up when I was in school . Did not help the shy girl in my at all.

Hi, you have a scary name. I hope you are not frightening. Anyway hoping for the best I will respond to this. I think I am having the same problem you have. But, I also feel shy to make mistakes and commit sins. So I have become a perfectionist. At least I think like that or try to be. It's kind of a disease. Hopefully not infectious. Bye

Hmm...do you think I am frightening...not at all...I am just a devil is in a sheep's skin. I am devilish mind doesn't work half of the time till some ones bug's me...so u need not worry abt it... I hope so tht you perfectionism dosen't takes over you ... Thanks for responding.

haha well yes,i am not good with compliments either... i don't know how to react when someone starts complimenting me..i feel uncomfortable, don't know if shy but at least uncomfortable.. and i sometimes get shy among people i don't know ,and we don't manage to find common subjects of discussions. and yesssss my parents can make me feel shy when we get out in society toghether..they always manage to say something silly ..hehe

I know...its sometimes very embarrassing ..especially when they tell stories ...it just sets your cheeks on fire....It does happens to me when all this intellectual people start talking about IPO's and Mutual Funds...and all these stock stuff...Its just goes bouncer and when they ask your comments on it ...i just smile and say I agree with u ..Once they had caught me too ..That i didn't had any knowledge about wht they were chattering about ...i was blushed...

I am just a shy person by nature So it just depends . I get shy when I have to go to a big event mostly and have to see people I havent seen in awhile . I seem to get shy before hand and then will ease in .
