Why do we like ice-age?

What I mean is that ice-age was (and could be, when it comes again) hell of a difficult phase for human race, but we still like it so much. May be because we feel comfortable that we are not living in such a situation now. Or is it just the way characters have been created, the cuteness of them that enthralls us?

I think we should not look into it too much. I like Ice age because it makes me laugh. Especially that squirrel!

lol,ice age was created as a comedy so the accent was put on the funny part of the story and not its drama.. i think it really depends on the director and the plot.. you could see different alternatives of a story and so many different ways, depending on the way it's been created to look.. if they wanted it to show an important problem of the humanity i am sure they would have directed it differently:)
i didn't really deeply thought of the possibilty of it showing a threat or something...i considered them to be funny animations,with funny caracthers,in order to bring a smile on our faces:) and i really liked the movie,i watched it several times already,it's a good one i think

And that is the way life has to be lived. Yo gave to look at the brighter side of everything, else it would become diffcult to handle.

ice age is total fun,,its gr8 to watch ,,so fuuny but still have a theme in it..wat a movie ,,,love it

Cause it is well devised,the story is funny and meaningful.The characters are of distinctive personalities.the animation are perfect.I love it and I have seen it several times.

Ice ages?properly we are bored with our daily life,so we want to make a change.Here ,the ice ages is something new to us,of course we like it.
