What annoys you most about people? I love to watch people, like in a crowd or a busy mall. But often people in general can annoy me. For instance my mother in law had this annoying habit of getting right in your face to talk to you. I mean like inches away. I kept backing up, and then she would grab your sleeve to hold you closer. How annoying is that?
Now I have a neighbor who claims to be an expert on anything and everything. The man is so full of himself. Its reached the point where the rest of us go out of our way to avoid him. LOL
Then there was my ex - the neat freak. I mean who rolls their underclothes and socks and color code them in their drawers in neat little rows? I used to love to go in and mix up the colors just to watch him freak out. Or take a long sleeve shirt out of the row of short sleeve shirts and put it in the middle of them. Is it any wonder he is my ex? So what annoys you?

What a great topic. I too like to people watch. I don't know if I'm just getting old or what, but are only stupid people breeding? I can't stand drivers who slam on their brakes to avoid hitting NOTHING! I can't stand moms who walk into a store and let their small children run off in different directions, pulling things off shelves and running threw carts. (I'm a mother of four so I know how hard being a mom of small kids is but at least try to control the little monsters! lol) What about the person that you talk to that has done everything and better than you. You know who you are! When I'm trying to tell a story and I get cut off by you saying "oh yea I've done that but I did it this way, blah, blah, blah. Come on! They couldn't have possibly done everything in this world. I'm telling you some people are just sooooo annoying.

Yea, and for some strange reason they have been put in charge of TV shows and commercials. For instance - when did cavemen become experts in insurance? Yep, only stupid people are breeding......lol

the neighbours annoy me.. i always have the 'luck' of getting the most moody people near me.
and they come at my door with the most stupid reasons, like: can you smoke on the balcony?your smoke gets in my house through the walls....???..or..don't park your car on the street anymore, because i must turn my car a bit when i get out of my parking place(they park in the flat's garden, which is on green space, which is illegal..lol)..because i have been living in this place for 20 years and i don't need young people to come disturb my order..
orrr why does my boyfriend tickle me so much, cause they can hear me laugh and it's disturbing to them.
one saturday afternoon at about 1 o'clock i turned the music a bit more louder than soft.. lol..meaning that i am not sure how loud it was to them but i didn't turn on the stereo,it was just my pc music..in 10 minutes since i turned on the music, the appartment's owner called us to tell us that neighbours already called them threatening that they would call police if we don't stop the music( i have rented the app so its not mine with papers)
some even told us to walk on our finger tips because they can hear us walk,in the house.. or.. to lift the chair when we move it instead of moving it on the floor..
but what most annoyed me ever in my life was when they came to my door with another stupid reason to fight,i told them i don't wanna discuss no more, and i don't want them at my door, they didnt wanna leave,so i slammed the door..they kept ringing my door bell over and over again, and knocking .. i didn't do anything..but when they tried to open the door and get inside of my appartment i really freaked out,it was the maximum of my nerves..now they can even get inside my appartment just like that???invade my intimacy..i have no rights??. they say we r just renters, but with the money i pay for the rent, the owner pays his credit to the bank for this appartment so what is their problem??..
and least but not last, it annoys me the way guys shout at me on the street..hey you,you are hot..hey you, etc etc.. i mean, can't they just look and that's all?...they really need to be so rude..i was once walking with my parents and a guy opened the cab's window and shouted after me:'oh,you're f...g good'..pfff. lack of respect..ow well,i am sure all girls get this daily but i don't like it..one even touched my breats in the middle of the street..i was about to call the police, that annoyed i was..but he ran away quickly..
it's herracement if you ask me
but then again, my country has a long way to go till it gets civilised

You do have annoying neighbors. I'm stubborn enough I'd go out of my way to make noise - just to annoy them back. LOL

You picked out some real great ones there! They each would drive me crazy! I have to include the idea that someone in my house like to empty the toilet paper roll and not replace it! And there is one person that I try my best to keep well away from. If you engage her in conversation even a simple 'hi' she will talk your ear off. It is incredible how much she can talk about absolutely nothing. These annoy me to no end!

Oh yes, the dreaded empty TP roll. Here I often find one, or two tiny sheets left on it. That way my guy can claim he didn't leave an empty roll. LOL Lazy for sure. Hmmm chatterboxes - my stepsister is one. She is visiting here in town right now and I'm doing my best to avoid her. Boy can that girl talk!

I get really annoyed when people follow me around. This mostly includes my little sister, cousins and some annoying friends. It really drives me nuts when I look back and I am being followed.
One time in highschool one of my friends had to walk literally side by side with me to every class. Her arm had to be against mine no matter how much empty space there was in the hallway she was always there. I never really said anything to her because i did'nt want to hurt her feelings or anything so, I just delt with it.
Finally, the thing that annoys me most is when people ease drop on myself or other people. This really drives me nuts. It used to be really bad with my mom doing it to me and my sister. She would listen in on our phone conversations and look through our room. This is not so bad anymore "Thank God" but when it did go on it was verry annoying to me.

what annoys me most is when a person talks a lot. i don't like talking if it's just for the sake of talking. i'm tired of that.
i also hate people who works in a customer service type of job that don't know how to even smile or answer you properly to make things clearer.
i dislike people who don't have patience. people who burst out and cannot keep their cool especially in public.

People who rush around apparently working really hard and make a big show of helping you do 'your' work but they don't take the time to treat people with dignity and respect.
People who are really friendly to your face and then b*tch about you behind your back.
People who talk with their mouths full and end up spraying you with it.
People who pretend a complaint about you has come from someone else when you know full well it's them having a whinge.

Tess White, you are a gem. I enjoyed the way you mixed up all your neat freaks clothes. Ha, I wish I was there to see his face. Thank God he has become your ex. How could you have lived with such a guy. Next time your mother in law gets right into your face, collect a little spit in your m outh and try talking with it, splashing it in her face. Then be contrite. Try this twice and she will never come near you again. lol. Dont to this if she is otherwise a nice woman. We live with peoples idosyncracies. Yes, what annoys me most is an egoestical behaviour. It drives me mad when someone Says, dont tell me. I tell the world what to do. I could happily bang his head to the wall. lol. Cheers for now. Enjoyed your discussion heap big. kt

Ahhh well, my MIL passed away years ago. And while she was basically a good soul at heart, she was probably the most annoying woman I've ever known.

I find a lot of people annoy me. However I'm not a people person. The things that annoy me the most are:
Lack of common sense
Having to be told the same thing 4 or 5 times and STILL not getting it.
Touchy people/people who get in your personal space...the ones that get in my personal space and don't back off AND aren't welcome. (I don't mind family members, certain friends and my boyfriend in my space but strangers ewww stay out!)
Know it alls - No one knows everything at least be honest and admit you have to look somethings up!

I work with an elderly woman that can afford to retire. I think she stays on the job just to make her co-workers crazy. She has her nose in everyones business. If she sees two people talking she stops what she is doing and walks over to listen to their conversation, then adds her 2 cents in. We have learned that when we see her coming we just stop talking and walk away from her, We wait until she leaves the area to continue our talk, sometimes she comes along again. She is just a busybody!!

I know a woman who has to top me in everything, good or bad. Something good happens to me, it happened better to her. I find a great sale on something, she has already found three or four better ones. I got a crappy raise this past year and her raise was crappier!

You made me laugh about your MIL, TessWhite ... my MIL has lots of annoying habits too, but the worst one is that she speaks loudly about people who are standing near us when they can hear everything she says! It's incredibly embarrassing ... and I remember once we were waiting in a restaurant when a large lady walked in. My MIL (who is large herself) said, 'Look at her ... you could scoop her out and use her for a kennel!' We were all mortified, as you can imagine!

Hmmmm I have no patience for such rudeness as that. My MIL once did something similar, and I called her on it right there - loudly. Being insulting of others is never right.

People who jump queues annoy me...everyone was patiently waiting for their turn, and then you have someone who would just want to cut in ahead of you.
Drivers who jump queues - we were all queued up at the toll booth, waiting to pay and go. And you have rude drivers who would cut in, and worse, move their cars so close that either you give way or run the risk of your car being scratched or dented.
People who are rude to waitresses and retail sales people. I've seen this among those who think they are rich. It feels to me like a sense of deep insecurity or inferior complex...after all, being rich doesn't grant you the right to be rude to anyone.

Ahhh yes, the rich snobs. Another trait of my ex. I can't tell you how many times I was embaressed by being with that man when he would belittle the waitperson.

I hate when people dont stop talking, repeat stories and are fake. One of the ladies I work with corners you and you can get stuck for what feels like hours. I do enjoy having conversation with her but most of the time there is no conversation because you are just listening to her talk. She has an answer for everything and repeats the same stories ALL THE TIME. I understand if you repeat once and awhile but at least once a week, how tiring. I dont understand - dont you listen to yourself. So to answer I also dislike when people feel they need to prove themselves and dont just keep it real!

Hey, just do like I used to do with my MIL when she did the same thing. I'd say "yea, I think you've told me that before, smile and move on." After awhile they get the hint.

Something in people always annoys me. Some of my friends like to yell at other people in public which annoys me much. Some people like to shout at others with no reason but to show their dominance is which annoys me very much.
Some people tease the girls and ladies which annoys them also the viewers. This is a kind of eve teasing. There are many things in the world which annoys me and also everyone. This annoying this is very annoying me.

Some people just annoy me.
Just a few examples:
Yesterday, I was browsing through a small video game shop just to buy just some simple accessories. It wasn't a big shop, or those huge chains like EB Games. Guy who runs the store should really let someone else take the job. His attitude towards customer really explains why the shop is so small.
It was the middle of the day. If it's like almost closing time, I can understand that some people would rather go home than to stay a few minutes for some potential extra bucks. But I just wanted to know what I'm getting myself into. He avoided all my questions about what I'm holding, and gave me the "either you buy it or you don't" kinda deal. I was a bit impatient on getting my hands on it, so I really do, in a way, regret buying it, even if I needed it.
Another time was after school, on my way home. I was with friends. If you don't know what sidewalks look like after school, here's a description. Sidewalks are clogged. Either you walk behind a group, or you go around through the grass. This one guy decided to walk against the direction of the people, and claim the sidewalk as his own. So he was approaching us, and said "excuse me, you're blocking the road". Not even a second later, he rammed his shoulder to shove his way through, screwing up the tuning on my instrument, and shoved a girl (*GASP*). Her BF decided to step up and ask why he did it. He didn't even turn around, didn't justify his actions, and called him a f***ing a-hole.
I kinda wish that I did something when he rammed my instrument, like one of those MGS3 Snake CQC things that slam him to the ground for doing that.
