Blue Ridge Parkway

Hi everyone, My boyfriend and I drove out on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway on Saturday. Wow! What awesome beauty and scenery! It is gorgeous! God's creation sure is awesome and beautiful! I live in southwestern part of VA and the Blue Ridge Parkway is a favorite for many people here. It is just beautiful! Sometimes we neglet what is in our backyard! We think we need to travel far off to see beautiful things. I'm to thankful to live here and see God's awesome creation! God bless and have a great day!

I feel the same way about the scenery here in Scotland pal , Why SHOULD we go abroad when we can see all the lovely nature here , I am glad you appreciate it pal as a lot of people don't :) xx

It is beautiful isnt it ? I live in the eastern part of VA, near the ocean, but my mom lives further out west near Appomattox. In the fall my boyfriend and I like to go up to my moms and pack a lunch and go up on the mountains and have a picnic. It is absolutely gorgeous that time of year ! So calm and peaceful and colorful. If youve never been in the fall, you really should, its like a whole other world.
