Revealing romantic feelings.

I was wondering about how you would handle this situation,suppose you were just good friends with a person of the other gender and,you started feeling more than friendship for this person and wanted to express how you were really feeling would you keep it to yourself,tell other ppl but not him/her or would you just tell your secret crush that you are falling in love with him/her and are interested in having a relationship please share!

i have a friend who i have know for four years. i have grown to love and respect him. he asked me if i thought of him more than a friend. i wasn't sure how to reply. so i told him i plead the fifth. i didnt want to waste anymore time than than i had. i decided to tell him how i felt.
i told him that i see him more than just a friend. i would like to have the relationship to go further.
he was shocked. he said he would take my feelings into consideration.
we are still communicating. i am hoping things will go in that direction in due time.

This is so funny, because I am going through the same thing. I have a male friend that I have known for almost 5 years and I have always loved him (progressively), but I know he is promiscuous and that he probably wouldn't be interested in a relationship with me of all people. It's still very confusing because I still haven't confronted him with it. I admire you for your courage! I wish the best for you!
