Anyone watched it? I liked it but I feel like the first one was better, and am kinda disappointed because I thought it was supposed to be better than the first! What's your opinion?

I enjoyed it, but I wish there was more time for them to delve even deeper into the stories and the mythology around all the animals and histories. I feel that the Narnia series was a little bit underdeveloped as novels - the ideas have the potential to be built up to Lord of the Rings proportions. But, as far as the movie goes I think that I enjoyed it on a similar level to how I enjoed the first. :)

I definitely agree about delving more into the story. I would rather it go more in depth like LOTR did. Which, I loved LOTR too... Prince Caspian definitely seemed to short, like not enough of the story was told. I mean they place it 1000 years in the future for Narnia or whatever and give a quick run down of the happenings in that time...lol... They definitely could have been more detailed in their portrayal. I never read the books though. I'm not much of a reader, I get sick of it after a while and the book end's up sitting there half read for a year...lol... Only books I've gotten through are the Dave Pelzer books, and if you've read them you know why, if you haven't you need to go to the book store now and buy them. Well, thank's so much for your response!

I hear ya. I LOVED the books when I was a kid, but as an adult, I found them a little simple. Mind you that's after I've read and re-read LOTR! Never could wrap my brain around Then Silmarillion, though. It's pre-LOTR mytholgy but quite hard to follow (to my way of thinking anyhow). Now that I have kids there's no WAY I could - my brains gone a little mushy in the past few years. When they're a little older and more independant, I plan to get my brain back by whatever means necessary. ;)

Yeah I agree with that. But IDK. I liked both of them. I guess I was just so hyped up to see prince caspian that I was kinda disappointed, had my expectations set to high..lol

It actually exceeded my expectations hehe. I did not expect it to be that great. Well, I have never read the books but just comparing it from the first movie, I'd say I like the second installment better. Not to mention Prince Caspian is so hot. Hahaha.

I agree with you on this one. I felt that they could have done better. I've read the book and I particularly disliked the addition of the poor Narnian creatures being trapped inside the castle to be massacred. That was the deal breaker for me. I don't regret watching it though, and I thought Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian was cute, especially with the funny accent LOL. Apart from that however, I definitely feel that it wasn't as good as the first one. I hope they do better with the Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
