Is my best friend ever!!!! Anyone else have that really close tell-you-anything relationship with a parent?

My father was my really close parent, but he passed. I couldn't tell him everything, but I was really close to him. He was very old fashioned but never, ever judged me. I will love him forever. He was more than my best friend, he was my hero and I love everything about him.

And I have 27 years of good memories of him. I just wish I was able to make more with him. I still talk to him as I know he is watching over me. Feels good to have my best friend as my guardian angel.
