gas prices

gas has been at a steady rise for the past few months but in the suburbs of chicago here its stayed around 420-430. and now has gone down to 415 or so in a few places..whats gas like around everyone else?

The average price here in Miami, FL, is $4.15 for regular. If you go to South Beach, though, it's just under $5.00 Considering the state of the economy, the huge numbers of people being laid off, and the reductions in many people's pay, the huge profits of the oil companies are nothing short of obscene. I wish we had public transportation that would take me to and from work from where I live, but it just doesn't exist. In the areas that do have public transit, they've reduced the frequency, the number of routes, and raised the prices. How far is this going to go before we're back in the Great Depression?
