A lot of discussions are starts here every day and most of members respond to the newest discussion, that make me wonder where does the old discussions go? did any one of you have read the old discussions? do you respond to old discussions or just repond to the new one that members start it?

I don't think they go anywhere. Under each new discussion there is a list of similar discussions, and you can often see some which are a year old.
I have had some responses to my old discussions months after the previous response was made. When one new response is added, other people notice and respond to it, as as active discussions appear higher in the discussion lists. So old one can become active again.
New discussions will always get noticed more when they get responses as soon as they appear.

I've seen discussions as many as two years old. I think alot of them stay on my lot. I dont know what is the protocol for keeping or deleting them. I answer some of the old discussions.

Old discussions just fall under the interests where they were started, and move to the bottom of the line. I respond to whateer looks interesting, and i I want to know more about a certain subject, I'll do a search for it in the MyLot search box. I hae responded to a lot of older discussions that way/

You are right alkurishy. There are tons of new discussions created everyday and I also notice that there are lots of old discussions which are attractive as well. I always try to reply new discussions most of the time. I do pick old discussions to respond if I come across any of them which I am interested and able to answer.

You are very much welcome alkurishy. If I find any interesting old discussions I surely would respond them without any hesitation. It is really fun to see them reanimated again and arouse the interest of other users after I have replied them.
Happy posting and have a great day.
