tools for computer programers

I do a bit of programing off and on and i have found these tools usefull
Microsoft Express (free programing tools)
Dev C++ (free ^)
Instal Creator (free install creator)
Microsoft Vertual Pc (free vertual softwere)
I use the programing tools to make programs then i creat an install and then i use a vertual xp pc to test my product!

I also found that textpad is especially good for compiling classes for java. Netbeans as well. I've also tried the various softwares from visual basic. I like those as well. They are all usually free.

Dev-cpp is great for c/c++
When I work with assembly (in windows) i use masm and an ide called Radasm (great ide btw)
