I find you to be a very open and honest and confident person, you state the facts as how they are and don't seem to find the need to hide from anything, we could use more of that not only on here but throughout the world, you seem very proud of where you came from, I liked the fact that you could admit to 2 divorces and a couple of common laws, I had a couple of them myself, as after the 2nd divorce I decided no more marriages for me, but then messed up again in 1994 and done it again. I think you are a delight here at mylot and looking forward to a lot more discussions with you.

It has been most interesting to read of your family background with a much varied ethnic group, and my goodness, to have so many siblings to grow up with. Never fear my dear, for I'm a single gal too, but still hoping that I too shall meet my Prince Charming one day. As for what I think of you? I thought you were very nice! I've come across some of your comments and thought you had a great sense of humor and balance in your life. You certainly don't look like a Grandma! I'm recently single, too, and enjoying every moment of it. I doubt I'll ever get tied down again but my stepmom says she felt the same way till she met my dad so never say never!

Hi Rosekitty, Firstly I would like to say that it must be lovely to come from and have such a large family and so many girls oh yes your poor dad! I can also understand the attraction for Devon clotted cream now as it reminds you of your grandparents roots, and that Bohemian streak is in you too LOL. Knew you were a rebel. I am not quite sure how to answer you Rosie. I thought "She sounds fun". I now know that you are fun! Our backgrounds clearly influence the people that we are for good or ill. I am a complete relationship novice by comparison and have only one child. I admire what you have achieved in life. When I leave this site, you will be one of the people that I shall miss most.
