what is love to you?

Many have been perplexed by the definition of love. I believe that the definition is idiosyncratic. Love to me is the feeling left over once passion and lust have passed. While we are full of passion we may believe we are in love but once that is gone we may come to realize that the person is not right for us. I think real love is the comfort you feel along side your mate. I think it is the smile that comes on your face when the person enters the room without you being conscious of it. It is total acceptance of all the other person's flaws and the love for their strengths. What is your definition of love?

I think you said it perfectly. My husband and i have been married 14years. I love him more now than when we married. We have had our problems but that doesn't mean we don't love each other dearly and in some cases the problems have actually brought us closer together.
