I never did get to watch Queer As Folk when it originally aired on Showtime. However recently I found it on LOGO channel. It's just getting close to the last few episodes of the first season. I can say that my favorite couple is Brian and Justin. I love how protective Brian is of Justin by the end of the first season.
So who was your favorite couple on Queer As Folk?

Oh, I know. I'm pretty sure I'm missing all the best parts. I guess I'm gonna have to try to get it on DVD so I can see it unedited.

I really liked Brian and Justin of course. I hate how Justin was being...an idiot for a while when Brian was really showing that he loved and wanted him. I like Hal Sparks a lot and it made me like Michael and Bens relationship as well.. I think that they showed it pretty well.

Brian and Justin are definitely my favorite couple. That scene at Justin's prom where Brian shows up to dance with him is just so sweet!! I love how in the beginning Justin is just another guy among Brian's many, many guys. But at the end, they truly love each other and Brian has to finally admit his feelings. I missed a few seasons along the way.
My other favorite couples are Melanie and Lindsay. They had some pretty hot scenes. lol. And Michael's (I love me some Hal Sparks!) sort of unrequited love for his best friend Brian is sad.
I just really loved this show. The L Word is good too, but just isn't the same somehow. I wish they were still making new episodes.

You know, Brian loves Michael too. It's just in the sort of, selfish Brian way, which is why it could never have worked. Remember when Michael and Justin were working on the Comic Book together and Brian came home to find them sleeping in the same bed. He flipped a gasket, but it was, in my opinion, because he wanted both of them to himself and that line was crossed and he couldn't take it.
I think Brian's charactor was the one the experienced the most growth during the show.

You need to see the first season. It just lets you know all the characters and their personalities.
I can't get into the L word. I think they should have made differences. I watch that show and I just see female versions of QAF characters. The writers are the same.

Like I said, I missed a few seasons. Right after Michael started the comic book is the last I saw of it til the very end.
Brian's character definitely grew the most, which I think is appropriate since the show essentially revolved around him even with all of the peripheral characters. He started out very selfish and little by little that tough exterior that he used to keep everyone else out started to crumble. Justin was so good for him. This was definitely one of my favorite shows, and thank God for Showcase airing it here in Canada. Canadian programming is awesome. lol.
