Would you rather have more friends who are like family?
Or a family that is like friends?
Can I have them both? For me, Having a close family ties is very important to me. I may not be lucky on having kind cousins and even uncles but it's not an issue for me, what matters is I love my parents, my brother my two aunts who live in our house and my two dogs!! when it comes to friends, I have lots of friends but only few of them I consider my knights in shining armor.

I have both!^_^ my mom is just like a friend to me..i can share her my stories without any fear..we have a very strong bond and i am very thankful that i have a mom like her..she never let us feel incomplete even without a dad we are very happy and contented. and as to my friends i am very lucky also to have a friend that is almost like a family member..they sleep over here or sometimes vice versa..i am really happy that i am lucky to have both.

The people who I thought were my friends have proven to not be friends at all. I considered them my family, but now have seen that even family can hurt you. However, I still consider my new friends that I met through my fiance my family and believe that both are very important. Sure I fight with my family but I always know that they love me. Have a Great day.

It can be both ways. Friends treat you as a member of their family, and your family considers you as their friend. Having these people is one of the best things that we can have in life, and not all of us are given such gift. You are blessed to have them.

If only you know this person and her family very well. You probably would think twice about commenting. Maybe even feel a little disgusted or maybe even give a negative comment. Ask her if she has a kind MOTHER. A MOTHER who would curse a grand-daughter (her niece from a 1st degree cousin), because the grand-daughter had turned her life around from having almost nothing to having everything she wants in life. All this blessings from her hard work. Envy is a disease that kills the goodness in the human heart.
