Our weekend last time was worst because of typhoon Frank hitting the Philippines..it was so terrible that it caused flashfloods and other calamities as its after-effects.
After doing house chores, We (the entire troupe) usually spend most of the time of our weekends at the tennis court, hitting the ball til we run out of it, so to speak. But because of that very stormy weekend, we just stayed at home doing few chores and just enjoying each other's company watching TV.
It was also an awakening for me because I felt that I was really rested from my athletic life; it was truly a wonderful feeling of having renewed strength and energy.
How about you, what would you do in a stormy weekend?

i would pack up with my favorite books in my comfortable bedroom and read them..while reading, i would have a cup of the creamiest coffee mix that i can prepare. there should be a warm and fuzzy blanket by my side, and a person i could cuddle with throughout the stormy weekend. that's all. lol

On a stormy weekend, I would grab a book and read. Sometimes, I would call my boyfriend to come over as well as other friends and we would play card games or board games. When they can't come because of the weather, I would just spend the weekend cross-stitching or working on my beaded accessories. I would also play the piano with my sister.

i stayed in the house, watched tv and surf the internet... While hearing the teardrops of heavy rains in the roof and the sound of the thunderstorms and lightning... After that day, i felt saddened because other part of the country was heavily devastated by that thypoon. That it also left a mishap... and I pray for those who were affected...

Last weekend as they say was really strong we were not able to feel it as we have our son confined since he has a fever since Wednesday. We saw in the window how bad the wind was but we could not really experience since we were on the second floor and the glass was reallyt think that we could not hear the winds. Plus the fact that we were really attending top our son back then. After 4 days confinement when we got out of the hospital weather was fine again like it was before. This was my first time I have not experience the weather since I was confined in a room that is so comfortable that I never really realized what was happening outside. Electricity was continous in my place since it has generators so the aricon was a bit low but cool lights were on all the time.

You made me reminisce of how we spend rainy days the last time we were there. What we usually do is watch movies, eat rice porridge (lugaw) or the other version of it champorado with salted fish....yummy.Before typhoon gets stronger the kids get to play under the rain. That's one thing I don't want my kids to miss out.

Maybe just stay at home with the kids. Its not safe to go out and you might catch some colds. It would be a perfect bonding time with them, perhaps playing, singing and watching TV. Oh I long for such time. Hopefully, hopefully soon...
