Being MyLot has members from around the world, is your country's legal age as messed up as America's? I know America has so many problems trying to figure out what legal age actually is. Of course, many Americans will say that it is 18. But is it? You can't drink until you are 21. You can start driving when you are 16. Heck, you can get married before that in some states with consent from the parents! I had a summons (been overseas and it was for a phone bill, I didn't kill anybody!) come in the mail and my 14 year old nephew was "old enough" to sign for it. That doesn't even sound legal, but it was. So what is your "legal age" and is it as confusing as America's?

I believe Finland's system is pretty good. You can drink at age of 18, I think its good age. Most have grown up at that age, and understand what will happen if they drink a lot, and I'm sure they are responsible enough at that age. Also the driving license for car and big motorbike 125cc and over is at age of 18. Same reasons as before, I believe at that age you are responsible enough to drive a car/motorbike. Also truck and other are 18+. You can buy smokes when you are 18 or older. Some systems are weird tho. Like when you turn 15 you can drive a snowmobile without any license in the nature, but not the snowmobile routes. As snowmobile can get from 0-100km/h in just 3 seconds, thats like formulas. So thats the only weird thing. You can get a tractor license at the age of 15 by doing a test and also drive a moped. A 50 cc motorbike at the age of 15 after doing a test. At the age of 16 you can get a 125cc motorbike driving license, which I am currently getting. Few more tests and I have it. I hope that clears you up and you understand our system now.
