I am a loving wife and mom to my four kids and I am an activist. I was a labor union leader, half of my life has been spent in serving the interest of the workers and the masses as well. I've been in the negotiating battle, standing for the welfare of my fellow workers, I used to march in the street with clenched fist asking for a change, Educate the workers for their basic rights, organize the community and advance a lot of struggles for different issues such as demolition, CBA negotiation, strikes, pickets to name a few. My pregnancy does not hinders me in doing these activities, even during the 7th month of my pregnancy, when the International community arrived in our area to integrate, I accompanied them to meet the farmworkers, walking in the muddy ricefield disregarding the heat of the sun. Those struggles leads me to be one of the target of the local military. Eventually, some of my comrades died because of rampant political killings. My family and friends beg me to stop and stay home so I was forced to leave my work. My principles caused my job but I dont regret it. I may not active on physical participation, yet in my blood still runs the immortal seed of an activist. How about you? what are the consequences that you've been through fighting for your beliefs and principles?

It's remarkable how you manage to run a family, be a good wife and mother and serve the people at the same time. It's sad to know that by doing so cause you to lose your job but reading that you have no regrets about amazed me. You have such a strong principle to sacrifice. I hope you find a good opportunity and income after losing your job so you can still provide for your family. Good luck.
