what do you think of online investment?

I have been hearing of investment without me know what's really there to invest and i now hear there is online investment can any one pls tell me how to go about it?and it there any benifit from the investment and how does it work?

What kind of investments. I use a lending site to invest my money it works like a loan company called Prosper. It works really well, but you have to have the money to lend as it pays out over 3 years.
