Every day we encounter a thousand little annoyances. Some jerk cuts us off on the way to work, we get a flat tire, someone takes our lunch out of the fridge, and so on. While each incident is seemingly small, they burrow under our skin and fester there. The mundane indignities of life threaten to snuff the very life out of us. We can soon find ourselves exploding at the smallest irritations. We become angry all the time.

This issue is one i have been more aware of myself and have been addressing recently. My main frustration is the little things in life. A favorite exampleis when some one blocks up the whole isle at the supermarket and just stares at you as you are waiting for them to move to make your way through

I remember "angry all the time." Most definitely not a place I want to go back to. It took me a long time (and a lot of money) to get out of that space. When I get upset or annoyed at something now, I worry a bit that I will fall back into that anger-all-the-time way. But then I take note of how I am feeling and realize that I have let myself get overtired. Once I am rested, that same annoyance does not bring on the anger. Beautiful picture. Very peaceful.
