desktop or laptop

Hi melo, I use both desktop and laptop.When i need to type a lot or i want more bigger screen i use my computer desk much easier to type and more faster to use.But when i am too lazy and i want in some place to surf,i use my laptop is easy becouse you can bring it anywhere w/ out any cable and you can surf and research somewhere else like in the balcony,bedroom,kitchen.I can use it also if my parents want me to show all the whole house that easy becouse you can carry it w/ camera.Have a nice day! I am using a laptop, well they are convenient to use because if you feel lazy you can put it in bed and surf unlike a desktop you cant move around much. But if youre a writer I tink its better to use desktop because you have to observe posture to avoid backache. So its safe to say that it actually depends, both have its pros and cons :)

I deffintley perfer and use a laptop. I just like it better before I use to use my parents computer which I couldnt use while watching tv. But with a laptop I can use and bring with me on vacations so I have it with me and post and check my emails when im away. Only problem with them are they dont have a lot of space never ran short on disk space with my computer.

Being the computer addict that I am, I prefer both. I love my desktop computer in doing works that I prefer accomplishing at home. I also used for my games since some of those occupy a little bit too much of spaces and I a more comfortable playing using the desktop. On the other hand, I also love my laptop especially when I want to do work in coffee shops or in any other places besides my place. i agree that a laptap disadvantage is that sometimes some upgrades are not available unless you want to carry a another driver that can be attach to your laptop, which means that it would kinda look funny, but i really cannot do away with the laptop because of the convenience that it can offer to me. =)

i would prefer my desktop pc since i am not into job yet.may be when i start to work online i will start liking a laptop

I am using a laptop. You are right, is is portable. But I have to disagree with the upgrade thing. Laptops can also be upgraded. Memory, processor Hard Disk and all can be upgraded. The only major difference between the two is the price.

I have a desktop. It is on a computer desk in my bedroom I don't have enough space in the living room to put it out there. I would love to have a laptop just can't afford one of them right now maybe one of these days.

I am using a laptop. It's been a while since I use desktop. I never like desktop, it is too big and too heavy to move around. I like laptop because of the size and light. Laptop parts is upgradeable but not all of them. I heard that the intel core 2 duo processor is upgradeable. I forgot where I read that article.

I am using a desktop now. It is nice to use it but its inconvenient sometimes because it is slow. It really tests my patience. LOL. I didn't know a laptop cannot be upgraded. Thanks. Take care =)

I'm a desktop person, because I don't like lugging things around and I carry a flash drive instead so I could use a laptop or desktop any time.
