It seems that Mr. Imus has again exercised his right to free speach and upset a few people. Now I know he can be really controversial and I don't agree with everything he says but should Mr. Imus and other radio hosts be censored? Personally I don't believe in censorship but I would like to get some opinions on Mr. Imus. Who likes the man and why? Who hates the man and why?

I think he's kind of a mix of all three?
I don't hate the guy. Some of the points he makes are good ones. But he is PAiD ot be a shock jock, or I think he would put things differetly, verbally?-The man was only doing what he made BIG money from the network to do. When your paycheck depends on being rude and stupid..then that is what you do. What happened, I feel, was the fault of those paying him to be as rude as that. If there had been no complaint, he would still be on TV today and the network would still be laughing and paying him.
If you pay a man to be that way..he has extra incentive to push the limits..and he WAY over-did it. -No doubt. That was his job. (Blame the channel paying him.)
But censorship? Nope. We are not Russia. We have the right to free speech here in America. If you do not like what a person says, turn the channel and walk away. When the ratings go down, the show will go off air. There are 100's of TV channels. Feel free to change the one you watch.
