parent should have more time with their child

i am a young parent.when my baby was 4 monthes,i must go to work.and when he was 1.5 year old,i took him to the kindergarden. but i find he is not happy to this. these days,he got a diease,i must stay with him all day long.he is very happy about that and love me more. i think parent should have more time to stay with their children. they need to communicate with their parents. they will grow up healther.
