In Euro 2004, Greece stunned everyone as it lifted the title beating the home team portugal in the final. that comes next... what comes first is that it beat the european rank 1 (that time) france and rank 3 czech republic. and if u remember at that time the french had zidane, henry, barthez & vieira. and the czech had pavel nedved, tomas rosicky and milan baros (the highest scorer of the euro 2004). it was also interesting to note that it didnt even qualify for the world cup 2006 when minnows like serbia did.
then back in world cup 2002, cameroon, senegal and the koreans stunned the world with their sensational display of football.
and now in 2008 euro cup, turkey, croatia, russia?
means who had expected them even to get through even the first round (obviously they played sensational football thats why they reached so far, but thats just to impossible to think when giants like czech, italy, france, portugal were there. though croatia had to exit but still it rocked in the euro.
and england not even qualifying for the euro is another element of surprise.
and in south american football, minnows paraguay defeated brazil !!!
for a serious football fan, its a matter to think... whats happening to the football giants?
has the time come for the so-called minnows like croatia, turkey, russia, greece to rule the footballing world?
is it the end of reign of Italy, France, England, Portugal, Brazil, etc...

Good bye Portugal,Italy,Netherlands.Good bye C.Ronaldo,Pirlo,Rooben.Good bye the giant of the past.Welcome the new King!!!!!
