Hello everybody, it's some days I'm wondering about how Italy (country where I live) is seen from foreign people.
From the inside, things seems like this:
- Italian politic sucks
- Too many laws in conflict with each others
- Few job opportunities
- Few money in comparison to life cost
you say..it can be all black!..so what about Pros?
- Nice cities/weather maybe..so is that all?!
I can't find anything else goos at the moment..
These are just a few things I first thought, but are those even noticed from the rest of the world?
What politicans want us to think is that Italy is flawless, but I guess just a bunch of few Italian can say that truly (or maybe not?).
WHOEVER goes to Parliament here does ONLY his OWN interests: Berlusconi is actually suspect of some financial crimes, and what he had done for now is trying to make laws to suspend his trial. (IMHO: WTF!?) And he even says he's doing this for Italy!
So here comes my Question, do we have to shame when we come to visit your country as we are ITALIANS?

I think everybody said that their country isn't as they hope because of economical problems, social problems, political problems and so on, and I guess they will said that also their life aren't beautiful because they have many and many problems...
Now the question is: will arrive the day when we will be happy about our life, our cities, our friends... about all? I think never... unfortunatly we create problems on the other problems that already exist and this can't help us!

To be honest, I'm not familiar with Italy's politics or economic situation. However, this country is dear to me because I have relatives who worked there before and a number of my countrymen have found jobs there. I appreciate Italy for its physical beauty and its language. I find Italian language a passionate language. I'm amazed by its accent, intonation, and rhythm. I have just read book which chronicles a woman's stay in Italy. She describes Italy in such a way that I am driven to visit the country. In the book, the author pictures Italy as a nation of pleasure.
